Purpose |
The aim of this program is to broaden and deepen knowledge in a field based on undergraduate degree qualifications, as well as to provide the competencies of accessing knowledge, evaluating, interpreting and applying knowledge by conducting scientific research. In addition, this program is carried out as a formal education program. The aim of the education provided in the program is to raise students with high-level knowledge and skills regarding Turkish education and to produce scientific knowledge that will contribute to the literature on the field of Turkish education and guide practical applications. |

Content |
Turkish Education Master's Program is a two-year (4 semesters) thesis program. The program was established to train scientific experts who have professional knowledge and skills in teaching Turkish as their mother tongue. The science experts who will be trained within the program will not only meet the need for qualified teachers in the field, but also contribute to the knowledge of teaching Turkish. Science experts who complete the program carried out by the Department of Turkish Education will be equipped to lead the field. |

Admission Conditions |
Having a bachelor's degree in the relevant field and at least 55 ALES (SÖZ) score. |

Graduation Requirements |
Having completed at least 7 courses, seminar courses and thesis work, provided that they are not less than 21 credits. |

Graduate Employment Opportunities |
Graduates of the program can work as Turkish teachers in public or private schools, or they can apply for a doctorate program in the field of Turkish education. |

Quantification and consideration |
Measurement and evaluation activities vary in courses. However, the exam weights are 40% midterm and 60% final. |
